Aug. 24 PnH Recap
Pictured here finishing up a sock knit in Tahki Donegal Tweed, was the sole PnH'er that participated with Velma in last night's Purl 'n Hurl. BUT the two managed to not only get in some quality knitting time, but also some good ol' fashioned bitching as well. Eileen finally finished this sock, after verily years of languishing on her needles, and she can now move onto sock #2. She vows not to start the Noro Transitions turtleneck waiting in the wings until she finishes the assembly of the dress she's making for daughter Sophie. Pics promised when (and if) that ever happens.
Velma brought along her Noni Bobbles Bobbles Everywhere bag, and knit 'til she ran out of the Cascade 220 it's knit in.
We missed Heather and Jay who both said they would probably attend. Hope to see them and others next week, as we were awful lonely at Plaza Grill with our margaritas. 'Til next week, keep Purling and Hurling!
